Its simplified form invites us to look beyond the superficial, reflecting the values of manaakitanga (mutual respect) and kotahitanga (unity). 140mm H x 115mm W ceramic tile The silhouette, which became popular in the 18th century as an affordable form of portraiture, is intentionally stripped back and simplified. By removing the superficial, it invites us to look beneath the surface and recognise our
