Return of the Duck People cumberlands SupposedlyReturn of the Duck People This image was created because local business owners jokingly refer to the people that attend the annual Southeastern Wildlife Exposition as "The Duck People" because of the images of ducks on their shirt pockets, hats, handbags, etc.. This poster takes the term "duck people" literally and places them in a familiar Charleston scene. There are many humorous duck references painted in the image (i. e. Duck Street Theatre).
