These hardy, adaptable, goats were introduced to the Caribbean and North America by the Spanish some time around the 16th century. Primarily raised for their ability to range in difficult terrain, clearing brush, and for their meat, this breed of goat also carries a high amount of cashmere producing genetics. Producing large amounts of the soft downy undercoat every year which
