The Coral Sea saw service from 1947 to 1990 including a decade in Vietnam. The plaque is wood, 12 inches high and 9 1 4 inches wide. The center medallion is made of plaster, painted gold, 5 1 4 inches in diameter and depicts the bow of the Coral Sea.
