Description

but more from a sociological point of view

Capa’s image serves as a testament to the legacy and beauty of an enduring hallmark of Russian culture

consumption and communication have occupied him for much of his career

he captures the Tower of David and the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem as seen through an olive grove

its long neck rising above the traffic like an unbothered commuter

Magnum Editions: Queen Elizabeth II, Vienna, 1969 Framing:Custom White Frame but more from a sociologicalIn 1969, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip and Princess Anne visited Vienna during their first official state visit to Austria from May 57. Photographer Thomas Hoepker, then 32 years old, traveled to Vienna to make photographs of the Queen during the trip, including her visit to the Opera House. Hoepker was at that time a photo reporter for Stern magazine, and Magnum had already been distributing his photographs since 1964.
