The metallic minerals sparkle and shine and offer an amazing contrast of color. The base of pyrite has nice defined striations, and some have a natural rainbow iridescence to them. It was collected from the Huanzala Mine in Peru. Under short wave ultraviolet light, the calcite crystals fluoresce a vibrant pink color.
