Pulled from my travel sketchbook is this ink and marker piece created watching Wrangler cutoffs dry on the line

There's just something about a cactus bloom that's different than the rest

I was provided the opportunity to drive my grandfather's 1991 Chevy pickup around

but as it becomes more abstracted it allows the mind to play and the colors to become the story

The design was screenprinted here in Fort Worth
