The hallmark shows 830S for silver fineness, NM for Norsk Monsterb for registered pattern and the mark for Lohne. This spoon would have been used at Christmas time. The handle shows "NISSEN SPISER GROT" which roughly translates to "Santa eats porridge". The top of the handle shows a jolly type man eating with a cat at his feet. This spoon is 830 solid silver; not plated. Santa still gets porridge!
