They are multi hit ( see pic) and tested against . 30 cal ( 30. 06) Armor Piercing Rounds, taking 3 shoots with no full penetration. The front is 10mm of Alumina Ceramic then backed with UHMW PE. The weight is about 6 lbs 4 oz and will fit standard carriers designed for 10x12" plate inserts.
